Ride Colombo is an inspiring all-women cycling event held at the iconic Galle Face Green in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to celebrate International Women’s Day. This unique event brings together women from all walks of life to showcase strength, unity, and the joy of cycling. With the breathtaking backdrop of the Indian Ocean and Colombo’s vibrant skyline, participants will embark on a memorable ride, fostering empowerment and camaraderie. 100% of the proceeds from Ride Colombo ticket sales will support a special CSR initiative focused on empowering women in tourism. This project will provide training and equipment for deserving female bike guides, creating new opportunities in the tourism industry.

Yes, it’s a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) event. We are planning to offer limited rental options that may be available on-site.
You only need to know how to ride a bicycle safely.

Overcome challenges, break barriers, and make this moment yours. By being here, you’re championing our cause, ‘Women in Tourism,’ with all ticket proceeds supporting charity.
Yes, there is a registration fee of LKR 2,500 to participate in the event. Every rupee from your registration directly supports the Women in Tourism charity, as 100% of the ticket proceeds go to this cause. As a token of appreciation, your entry ticket also includes a complimentary event t-shirt and a snack.
We recommend wearing the official event t-shirt paired with comfortable and safe clothing suitable for cycling. A helmet is mandatory for all participants to ensure safety throughout the ride. If you’re feeling creative, you’re welcome to ride in a fancy dress! To make it even more exciting, we’ll be recognising the best fancy dress rider with a special award. Let your outfit reflect the fun and celebratory spirit of the event!
